The Farm Stand

Our farm stand is one of my favorite things that we do here at Chandler Family Farm. During the main growing season, typically opening in April, we offer a honor system based stand here at the farm in Mabank. In the Spring of 2025 we purchased a new little building that is now our farm store. It sits at the entrance to our farm near where our previous farm stand was. Only now, its building with AC and walls. While it looks different, we still operate in the same way as we did before. It is honor system meaning that we have a price list and a money box - we trust you! If your lucky, Thomas will be working the stand, pedaling his favorites or he’ll run out into the garden to cut some fresh flowers for you. This is also his favorite part of the farm - talking to our customers! While visiting the farm stand, you can visually see a few of the garden spaces. We ask that you respect our space and not venture into the gardens on your own. This is a working farm and our home, we have many free range animals and the gardens have rough ground so we want to make sure you are safe. Also, we have to ask, please do not enter past the gate/fence area. As this is a working farm, it is also our family home. Please respect our privacy.

With our upgrade to a building as our farm stand we will have the ability to offer many more farm products that we grow/raise and make ourselves. You can look for the addition of our pork and lamb cuts in the freezers. We also use the excess produce to make canned items such as salsa, pasta sauce and pickles.

The building has given our fresh cut flower bouquets a nice environment to keep fresher longer awaiting purchase. In 2026, we plan to have straight grower bunches of multiple flower varieties and a few options for mixed bouquets. This for me, is the most exciting part of our farm. I truly love growing flowers and getting more beauty into the world. Locally grown flowers, have a much longer vase life, a wider selection of uniqueness and colors than found shipped from overseas. WE can’t wait to share these beauties with y’all.
