our story
The dream of this farm started in 2011 as I moved home to Texas and began this journey. Our family farm is myself, Jennifer handling most of the farm duties, my son Thomas who is the life of the farm and my Dad, Brant who has been farming for his entire life. Thanks to him, his equipment and family land, all of my dreams have come true and continue to grow. It started very small with just a tiny plot to grow produce and now has grown into a full farm producing 3-5 acres of vegetables, fresh chicken eggs, pastured pork and cut flowers.
Each year we dabble in new ventures on the farm and a passion that Thomas ans I both share is cut flowers. Currently the farm is home to our farm dogs Honey and Pearl, some cats that prefer the cozy house bed instead of mouse hunting, Olive the horse, ducks, approximately 300 laying hens, 11 pigs and too many cows to count. Its a busy place with more work than daylight hours allow in the height of the seasons but its our calling and we take great pride in being farmers. We look forward to growing each year and providing healthy home grown food from our family to yours. We also have a small goat/sheep herd that lives at our families place with their protector Scout, a great Pyrenees LGD.
